JV Elektriciteit CommV, with registered office at Mechelsesteenweg 174, 2550 Kontich, represented by Jari Verdoren, is the controller for the data collected through this website.

When you fill in the contact form, we process the data you provide: your name, email address, optionally your phone number and the content of your message.

When you call, email or send us a WhatsApp message, we process the contact details and information you share with us.

When you visit the website, technical data needed to serve and secure the site is processed, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit. This data is not used to identify you.

We use your data solely to answer your request, prepare a quote and carry out any resulting job. The legal basis is the performance of a contract or of steps prior to entering into a contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR).

Technical data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a secure, working website (art. 6.1.c and 6.1.f GDPR).

We do not use your data for marketing and never sell it.

Messages sent through the contact form are kept as long as needed to handle your request and for at most twelve months after the last contact. If your request leads to a job, the necessary data is kept for as long as the statutory accounting retention periods require.

To run this website we work with a small number of service providers (processors) who only process your data on our behalf:

• Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.) hosts this website and protects the contact form against abuse with Turnstile. Cloudflare Web Analytics measures site traffic without cookies and without tracking individual visitors.
• Resend (Resend, Inc.) delivers contact form messages to our mailbox as email.
• The map of our service area loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap (OpenStreetMap Foundation). Your IP address is sent to their servers in the process; no cookies are set.
• If you choose to contact us via WhatsApp, the terms and privacy policy of WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) apply.

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

This website sets no tracking or marketing cookies, which is why we do not ask for cookie consent. Only strictly necessary technical storage may be used to make the form and its protection work.

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict processing, to object and to data portability. To exercise these rights, email info@jvelektriciteit.be. We reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, www.dataprotectionauthority.be.
